Free Personalized Email Address

July 26, 2007 by Munky

Ok, for those of you who are stingy to buy their own domain, here’s your chance to get a real personalized email address. This is provided ofcourse by AOL free of charge. I would have had a cool personalized email address like “munky@oplokens.com” or “munky@maderhamper.com”… but I guess it’s only available for people living in the U.S. or Canada.

How To Get It:

1. Click on this link to go to aol.com. Search Domain
2. Create your own personalized email address.

Description

AOL is the first free email provider to let you create your entire personalized
email address from scratch - not just the part before the @ - the whole thing, like
you@TheNameYouReallyWant.com. Set it up for you, your friends, family or business.
Invite up to 100 people to get an email address at your domain.

*Ability to receive an SMS message required to complete registration.

(Only available in the US or Canada)

pfft… too bad for me.

  1. This might be helpful for you guys, as you write a number of emails that might want some flavor? Ever want an email that would self-destruct or send an email you don’t want someone to be able to print? Or a picture of your girlfriend (or boyfriend) that
you wish would disappear in 30 seconds? Take back that email you wrote to your boss at 2AM?!?

    Check out http://www.BigString.com

It is a new free webmail program. When you send mail from your BigString account, you are protected. BigString is like an automatic shredder for your email. You can self-destruct or change an email that’s already been sent or read.

    Have a great day!

  5. ok the AOL thing for free domains doesn’t let you pick your own domain but instead you have to pick a domain from a very short list!!
so thanks for wasting my time :-)
    Peace
