Want a free iPhone?

Do you want a free iPhone? Or a Nintendo Wii? Or have you ever wanted to have one of those cool mp3 players… an iPod perhaps?

I have found out that Xpango is giving away tons of freebies in exchange for referral credits or other means. No money involved here (that’s if you want to gain credits through referrals… and let them signup and purchase stuff at Xpango). Just by signing up from their website entitles you to win a free gift (there’s a lot of free stuff to choose from).

Ok now, I know right now you’re thinking this is just another one of those dirty schemes on the net. I had that kind of reaction back when Auction.ph was still new and was giving away free e-money and those cool 1 Peso auction and the ‘ala-jueteng’ 3 digit promo. Back then when I signed up on Auction.ph just out of curiousity and 3 days later I won P3,000. That was cool for Auction.ph to be giving away free stuff without me spending even a centavo.

Xpango is using that kind of marketing strategy to disseminate their existence to the world. A viral marketing which is a proven strategy these days. I’m no marketing expert but what the heck. I won’t be spending money and what do I have to loose? All I need to do is sign up (which I did already) and start referring the site to families and friends.
