The FWA – For Sale – Buyers Sought

January 14, 2009 by Munky

Whoa, The FWA is for sale? WTF? Talk about recession…

If you guys never heard of The FWA, you must have been living under a rock for ages now. Basically The FWA (The Favorite Website Awards) is an industry recognised website awards program, established in England in 2000. It is undeniably the ultimate source of new ideas and inspiration for flash designer/developers (if you find nothing new in The FWA, then you must be God)…

Information:

FWA is currently considering acquisition opportunities.

If you have interest or represent a company who may have interest, please get in touch for further information.

FWA is the most visited web award in history with almost 50 million site visits to date. See recent stats and info here:

FWA remains in a state of consistent growth and acquisition is seen as the best way forward to continue growing the brand and achieving new heights.

  3. The FWA showcases some of the greatest websites ever built but I’m not a fan of their interface. IMO, everything on there can be pretty much done with CSS and it doesn’t make any sense to me as to why they did it in Flash. If they really wanted to go for Flash, they might as well have done something that is not doable with CSS.
